Die Europäische Zentralbank will wie die US-Notenbank Fed den Leitzins erhöhen. Die seit der Rezession 2007 andauernde Politik des billigen Geldes soll enden – die Folgen sind noch nicht absehbar.
Seit Mitte März hat der Euro gegenüber dem US-Dollar um zwölf Prozent an Wert gewonnen. Das verteuert europäische Exporte, ein Währungskonflikt könnte die Folge sein.
